Katherine Pepe is a literal goddess and my personal hero. She has my undying loyalty and devotion for eternity and beyond. If she runs for office, I will knock on doors for her. If she ever needs investors and I have money, it is hers. If it turns out she is a literal superhero with a cape and a leotard, I will be not at all surprised. I have LITERALLY NEVER had a stylist I trusted until a friend of mine recommended Katherine. She helped me through all the mortifying stages of growing out my (super awesome and super unsustainable) undercut, and when I needed a more formal ‘do on a Sunday when her salon was closed, she offered to teach me how to do it MYSELF and made that process entirely doable for a hair dunce like me. Never before did I consider how empowering a hair stylist could be. Never again will I settle for less. Katherine is also a wizard with dude’s hair. I sent my fiance to her and the first thing he said afterward was, “I’ve never had a stylist actually ask me what I wanted before, and then do what I asked.” His previous MO was to go to a different barbershop each time he needed a cut–now he’s a loyal customer of Katherine’s as well. This is someone who genuinely cares about her customers and comes through time after time after time, in ways I would never ask for or expect but appreciate so deeply it’s hard to verbalize. I could not possibly recommend IV Hair Co more highly. A LITERAL HAIR SUPERHERO.​

I have been getting my haircut at Katherine’s for about 2 years! I love the fact that every time my haircut is cut and trimmed perfectly and I don’t have to wait for my hair to grow back in 1-2 weeks to look “alright”!! Growing up, I have lied to too many hairdressers that they cut my hair well, and I am glad that Katherine allows me to be an honest man with integrity because she mastered her craft with so many years of experience. She knows how to cut Asian hair well, she knows how to texture my top so it’s not too heavy and leaves me a lot of room with styling. I walk in every 3 weeks with confidence, knowing that I can trust her with my hair and she will do a great job every time. I stop by every time before I go on a date, job interview, family events and so on. I love the fact that she has a formula sheet for every client, so you don’t have to repeat and try to explain how you’d like your hair cut. She knows your hair better than you do trust me. Katherine’s communication is fabulous. She makes sure scheduling an appointment is as easy as possible. You will get email and text reminders, super helpful for college students with busy schedules. Not to mention Katherine rocks! Going to IV Hair Company is like a monthly catch up with Katerine, I really enjoy my time there chatting with her. She takes the time to get to know her customers, gives honest and professional advice on styling. Katherine is eager to learn and grow her business. She’s an amazing person that I’m glad to meet at UCSB. KATHERINE IS LITERALLY A GOD-SEND AND Y’ALL NEED HER IN YOUR LIFE

When it comes to making people look their best, Katherine is in a league of her own. She is an excellent colorist, and her haircuts are extraordinary. At her relatively young age she has, in my experience achieved a level of mastery that people many years her senior may never reach. She is very attuned to style, will make suggestions, but she also listens. I’m a professional woman in an image business and since Katherine started doing my hair, people ask me all the time where I get my hair done. I recommend her highly

I literally can’t find the words to express how transformative my appointment with Katherine was. She is more than a hair stylist and more than an artist – she is a true craftsman.

For the first time in my life, I enjoyed a hair salon appointment.
I have never liked my hair, its texture, color, etc, and I never knew what to do with it. I have dreaded every hair appointment I have ever made and I would always leave disappointed – either because I had not given the stylist enough information (because I was clueless) or because the stylist didn’t listen to my ideas, and/or respect them.

I spent over two hours with Katherine and it was a complete joy. I left feeling happy and confident, and more importantly, excited. Excited to finally have good hair.

I will never go anywhere else.
